We use PayPal to pay our creators. Each month, we will deposit your earnings to the PayPal account you include in your Account Settings. Once your balance accumulates at least $25 you will be triggered for a payout. Typically, deposits are made before the last day of the month for the previous month. For example, January earnings will be sent in February and may be sent any day before the last day of February.
Don’t worry, if you haven’t made enough to trigger a payout, your earnings will continue accumulating until we can issue a payout. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as you have funds available.

@Cel abraio @Evgeniy @Gleb Khorunzhiy @Adam Zubin Kozachenko hmm... I don't now how is your situation guys but I've got my payment! Of course it looks that is doesn't matter how many icons you sell you always get 10$ :P Weird isn't it?
@Adam Zubin, I'm sending you an email now. Thanks!
@Edward Boatman So are you implying there are no issues with my account?
@Karsten and @Iamtravis, I just sent you emails regarding your issues. Thanks!
I also received an email, unfortunately Gmail decided to delete, regarding royalties being added to my account. However, I can't seem to find out how to collect those royalties. The email had indicated that I needed to update my paypal info, which is up to date, but how do I continue to process the payment?
@Sofya Should I be concerned that I have not seen and money deposited into my PayPal account yet? I thought the payout date was one the 10th of every month. I've sold 50 icons, so I should well over 10$. I created my account a month ago. I'm just curious to see how much Ive made. Thanks for your help.
@Cel abraio @Adam Zubin for me this platform is one big misunderstanding. Whole this 'awesomeness' which they've got are designers who create icons. It's ridiculous that they treat us in this way. I think, that they've forgot about their idea. It's really sad.
@Adam Zubin : Same here, impossible to get a clear answer !
ATTENTION thenounproject, it looks like several people start to be disappointed with your opaque system and your answers.
I say 'attention' because things can degenerate quickly, and a reputation can break quickly too.
You need yo work harder to provide us satisfying answers !
Thanks
@Slawek Jurczyk Just counted and I have about $ or cart icon with 91 downloads!
@Slawek Jurczyk I tried to clarify the situation via customer service but since it was impossible to get a clear answer I posted here. No I haven't received a single payment yet from noun project although there have been several downloads showing on my dashboard way over than $10.
Of course we are not doing it for the money, otherwise we would have choose other solution which bring more money.
But when you think you will get 60 dollars, and instead you get nothing, because all your icon "have been dowloaded by enterprise" for almost nothing, you are a bit desapointed !
This is urgent to get better transarency.
@Cel abraio: We're working to make this information much more transparent by breaking down how many icons are downloaded through premium accounts & a la carte. Unfortunately we can't share pricing information for Enterprise customers, those contracts are negotiated on a case by case basis and are confidential. However, if your sole reason for contributing icons is to generate revenue, I would not recommend you doing so especially because anything can be downloaded for free as long as the user attributes you as the designer.
As mentioned above my dashboard shows I have accumulated over $10 and still haven't received a payment or email regarding. I have tried contacting you regarding payout past weeks without success. Please advice.
Yes but this is very opaque !
You should be able to provide us the numbers of downloaded icons in each category (a la carte / Premium / enterprise).
Yous can say : "No, you icons only have been downloaded by enterprise..." We have no guarenty at all.
Plus : What is the smallest price for an icon for enterprise? (negotiated rate based on very high volume...)
If this is like 1 cent per icon, this means 0.6 cent for the designer, I'm not ready to create icons for that amount.
So I would like to know if I am working for nothing or not.
Thank you
@Evgenly @Cel @Slawek: I understand your concerns. We're working on developing a new designer dashboard that is more comprehensive. We provide icons through our API to Enterprise clients, who use it in their apps. The apps are seeing a lot of traction, therefore we're counting each time your icon is downloaded by one of those apps. But the negotiated rate with our Enterprise clients is based on very high volume, so even though you see there are multiple downloads most of them are due to the API usage and therefore are not based on Premium Account rates. We are working on making this process more transparent on our end, and I apologize for the confusion this has created.
@Sofya everything you've written above is understandable except of how it works in real. Look at comments from other Designers. You should be more responsible if you resell somebody's work because this work is your salary.
Same thing. I've counted more than 60 purchases of my icons (it's in all cases more than $10), but there was no payment yet.
Same here,
many icons been downloaded, but nothing appeared on my account
@slawek We pay out designers once per month. If your account has more than $10 accumulated by the time of our payout, then you will get paid via PayPal. If your account has not accumulated at least $10, then it will continue to accumulate until the next payout. The number by the shopping cart icon is how many times your icon has been downloaded through a paid service, such as one-off purchase on the site, through a Premium Account, or through the API by and Enterprise client. It is not the total number of coins or dollars.

@Sofya Of course I can. I got my first deposit after 1,5 month since I collected more than 20 coins ($). So it's a bit later than you've explained above. But ok. As I mentioned I thought that it was because that was my first deposit. But now I've accumulated more than 70 and what? And nothing. I am waiting almost two months, so far without any explanation :/
@Slawek - can you please explain what problem you're experiencing? I'm sorry but I don't understand what payment delay you're referring to.
For the first time I thought that the payment delay was caused becouse I am new. This time I am very dissapointed because I realized that I was wrong. Shame on you guys! Shame on you!
Same situation.
