Your icon submission may be rejected for various reasons, but most issues can be fixed with minor adjustments. Before resubmitting, make sure your icon meets these requirements.
Technical Requirements
- Contain your icon within the artboard
- Center your icon on the artboard using alignment tools
- Add a 5px border around all edges of the icon
- If using Illustrator, set Decimal Place to 7 in “SVG Options”
- Export file as SVG
Design Requirements
Visual Quality
Icons must have:
- Clean shapes
- Consistent line weight
- Connected lines
- Cohesive style
- Merged shapes
- Recognizable proportions
- Visual representations that don’t use letters or numbers
Title and Tag Quality
Terms must be:
- Accurate, relevant, and specific to individual icons
- In English
- Spelled correctly
- Do not contain numbers or symbols
- Do not include style tags like "line," "outline," or "fill"
- Do not include tags such as "icon," "symbol," "sign," "glyph," or "image"

To enter tags properly, terms must be
- Input individually, separated by the enter key
- Or multiple tags may be added as one input by separating tags with a comma (e.g. cat, animal, mammal)
Prohibited Content
- Plagiarism
- Logos, trademarks, or copyrighted content

Spam
- AI-generated content
- AI-generated styles, including:
- Mascot
- Doodles
- Cartoons
- One-line art
- Pixel art
- Chibi or anime
- Emerging AI-generated styles that may not be listed above

Repeated or persistent visual or title/tagging issues such as:
- Incoherent icon themes
- Inconsistent style
- Redundant content
- Poor visual quality
- Inaccurate titles or tags
If your submission was rejected, carefully review these content guidelines to make sure your content aligns with our guidelines before submitting.
Policy Implementation
Icons that do not align with these content guidelines may result in:
- Account suspension
- Withheld royalty payments
- Account ban
