How do I credit a photographer?

If you’ve downloaded a basic (free) photo, you’ll need to follow these attribution guidelines. We request that attribution be listed next to the photo, below the photo, or somewhere in the project that correctly references the photo.

Your final work must include attribution as follows:

[Photo Title] by [Photographer Name] from Noun Project (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0)

If you’re using the image in a digital context, such as a website or video, the credit should include an HTML link as shown in the following code:

<a href=“[photo url]” target=“_blank” title=“[Photo Title]“>[Photo Title]</a> by [Photographer Name] from Noun Project (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0)

Please be sure to replace the portions of the code shown above in brackets to include the photo’s URL, photo title, and photographer name.
