How do I start using Noun Studio?

To start using Noun Studio, choose a Noun Project icon to use as a style reference, then enter a prompt to generate a new icon or edit an existing one in that style.

 

Every generation session starts from a human-created reference icon. The reference icon defines the visual style, so your prompt does not need to describe line weight, aesthetics, or other style characteristics. Instead, focus on the icon concept you want to create or the changes you want to make.

 

For example, you might generate a new campfire icon that matches an existing outdoor icon set. You could then continue refining it by asking the tool to make the flames larger, simplify the logs, reduce visual detail, or adjust the composition while maintaining the same overall style.
